Pete Fox and Jane Fox

Pete and Jane Fox have been our friends, colleagues, coaches and mentors since 2004. They live in Gilboa, NY where they were both teachers in Gilboa-Conesville Central School. They spent 10 years in the UK as consultants, designers and trainers, after initially introducing ‘Education by Design’ (an experiential programme that promotes problem-solving by collaborative learning communities, offered by Antioch University, New England) at an event in Edinburgh in 1999.  Pete and Jane continue to be important associates of Single Steps Learning, offering support, advice and giving us honest feedback in order to further develop our training and approaches.

Colin Weatherley

Colin's relentless passion for 'making a positive difference' in the world of education was the reason we first encountered the philosophy that underpins 'Single Steps Learning'. Along with Pete and Jane, Colin recognised potential in us many years ago - maybe before we even knew it ourselves. We continue to value his opinions and knowledge, and remain in regular contact.

Family and Friends

Without the ongoing support and belief of family and friends, Single Steps Learning would not be thriving nearly so well. Thank you all.

Antioch University New England, USA  (AUNE)

We would like to acknowledge our ongoing collaboration with AUNE. In recent years, we have visited the campus in Keene and participated as 'virtual attendees' in the CSPMT seminars.

AUNE invited us to become Adjunct Professors in 2012. We designed and facilitated a 15 week online course: 'Critical Skills for Critical Times' which formed part of the Experienced Educators Program (Master's Degree).

AUNE have named us as 'Endorsed Providers of the Critical Skills Programme' in the UK.

Schools and Settings

Finally, we would like to mention all the councils, schools, settings and organisations that we have had the privilege to work alongside since 2010. Thank you to all the staff, children, parents, governors, wider community members and leaders for engaging so positively with us over the years.
