Who can attend the training?
Teachers - Educators - LSAs - Leaders - Key Workers - EY Practitioners - Headteachers - Caretakers - Advisors - Admin Staff - Governors - Supply Teachers - and more...
All education events can be cross-phase (clusters of schools 3-19), whole school based (including all teaching and non-teaching staff) or tailored for a specific purpose (Nursery Schools Birth to Five, Foundation Stage/Phase, Colleges, Learning Support Assistants, Year 7 team, Middle Leaders, Leadership and Management, etc.).
The number of participants at an event can vary. We have worked with 8 participants and we have worked with 140+ participants. Our 'Designing for Learning' events usually have between 20 and 25 participants.

Do we offer different formats?
A short answer to this question is ‘yes’! We design each event separately to ensure it meets the requirements of individual schools/settings/clusters/authorities/colleges/organisations. Therefore we are able to offer a variety of formats. These range from twilights, workshops, one day events/conferences, 3 day events or embedded CPD (this takes place in class alongside the practitioners and learners).

What about long-term support in order to maximise impact and effect long-lasting change?
All of our training events have the option of long-term support for participants. We do not believe in designing an event that is based purely on a short-term ‘walk in-walk out’ mentality. We have attended too many CPD events like that within our own teaching careers. All participants will be offered relevant materials in the form of downloads during or just after an event. We offer ongoing email/telephone support and the opportunity to join a variety of ‘learning networks’ (closed networks such as wiki-spaces and open networks such as our Facebook Page).

Where are the training events held?
Most events are held in schools, premises that belong to the Local Authority/Council, or venues arranged by our clients.
Our events are ‘experiential’ and we engage practitioners in a variety of activities. Therefore we do like to check that each venue meets certain technical requirements before designing and delivering the event.
