Single Steps Learning Blog

We are delighted to have been fully booked for the last few years, which has resulted in very little additional time to keep up-to-date with our 'blog'! We are leaving the page active so that our previous 'blogs' remain accessible.

We do add to our social media accounts regularly, so please follow us on Facebook (@singlestepslearning) or X (@singlestepsblog).

An 'app-y' day...

An unexpected 'meet-up' with Karen Workman led to much laughter and learning today. Karen had recently attended an 'Apple Teacher Institute' and was keen to share her experience. We ended up in 'app' heaven! Anyone with access to an iPad who wants a great way to create and publish comic strips…try out 'Strip Design' from the app store.

Simple to use, lots of templates to choose from…great for all ages.

Loved our 'appy day!
I'm trying out new ways to use the iPad creatively with parents and children - using learner generated material and audio-visual ways to record evidence.
Have also ordered a rather exciting invention tool that you showed me yesterday! Will update when it arrives.
By the way - love the new website. Keep on inspiring with all your ideas.
